Pretty sure we saw similar scrubs when Picard needed heart surgery a few seasons ago.

Once when I was a kid, I held a camera flash right up to my eyes and fired it. It was at night and for what I remember as a couple hours, I was afraid I had blinded myself. I hadn't, of course. I don't know any of the science, but I've always been under the impression that you could be temporarily blinded (for more

I remember disliking Stephen in season 1, but I've been happy to see him every time he's been back. Also, he delivered what is still my favorite quote of the series: "Youwill not succeed and you will fail." So there's that. He was clearly outmatched this time around, so I was fine with him going. I was disappointed

All I know is that my eyes were tearing up from laughing before the opening credits. I loved this episode.

Gretchen's talent for making everything about her is astounding. When asked who else should go to Fashion Week, she said something—of Mondo, I think—like, "he would make a collection that would be very interesting for me to see."

I know this post is a week late
…but The Offspring really hilights what a cop out the emotion chip is. For as much as Data talks about not being able to love Lal, it's clear that he does. Perhaps not in an emotional sense, but in a much more concrete and meaningful way, I think.

I like Biggest Loser, but had to stop watching it after we got rid of our DVR because we used to fast forward through at least 50% of it: all the repeated material after commercials, the sappy "I miss my kids and my skinny jeans" crap, the ridiculous plotting before voting, pretty much everything but the challenges,

So, if Klingons get married right after they have sex…
…is this the first time Worf ever got laid? That would explain a lot.

The whole Anbo-jytsu thing would be ridiculous regardless, but calling it the "ultimate evolution of martial arts" just makes it stupid. Martial arts are, at their core, forms of combat, no? Who would blindfold themselves in combat? Also, Pulaski seems awfully surprised and offended by the Rikers participating in an

Technobabble
I know it's from last week, but I didn't get to that review till a couple days ago, so I'll put it here. I absolutely love O'Brien's explanation of how they're going to save Pulaski in "Unnatural Selection." It has to be the most concentrated chunk of technobabble we've gotten.

Single Mom
As soon as I heard gay Latino Robert Pattinson say something about he and his brother being raised by his single mom, I knew he had no chance.

The second half of "Elaan" is basically a submarine movie and is awesome for it. We saw more of that kind of combat in the movies, but it was, I think, underused in the series.

Sure, those 2 guys got beamed out into space…
But what about the guys they were trying to bring back from the planet? They never went back to Triacus. So those guys just get to hang out with some gravestones until they starve to death?

GPS
When the girls were told "you will have to find your way around with [dramatic pause] THIS [someone unfolds a map]" My only thought was "and what else exactly would they find their way around with?" I didn't figure out why they made such a big deal of it until Tyra made her inevitable "back in my day" comment

The emotional equivalent of an English degree
It hurts because it's true.

The commentary for Restless is indeed great, but there are some big giant S5 spoilers in tere, so wait if you haven't seen the rest of the show. I watched the commentary for Restless right after watching it for the first time because that episode just cries out for commentary, but I was bummed to learn some of what I

When we saw Hosea at tw Masters finale, my wife and I both said, "wait, /he/ won?"

See, my first thought when Ashley was introduced last week was, "she kinda looks like Michael Cera."

What became of Maltz anyway? Prison on Vulcan, I guess?

It'd been years since I watched either of these, so I was a little surprised by how much of the dialog I still knew verbatim. I think I watched them /a lot/ when I was younger. Also, this is the first time I've not teared up when they blow up the Enterprise. When I was a kid, I had a desktop image of the scene where
