Been acquainting myself with the Rolling Stones for the last couple of weeks (sixties first) and this popped up in the last couple days... Anywhoo

I’m actually pretty optimistic about this being a big year for women (yeah weird eh), and also non-whites, and maybe even poor people next year or something. I hope it all

The only business truly worth being a part of, is principled business. If you can’t understand why that is, I shudder to think what actually matters to you.

Diabetes & heart disease... Fat people can look good and/or be sexy (I think so myself), but it’s not healthy. The pursuit of good health should be common sense. Very fat people should try for more health and fitness only because it will improve their quality of life and physical ability. Being more physically capable

Some men just don’t like getting beaten by women, which limits their competitive opportunities. With fewer opportunities your going to have less encouragement to join those activities, and also a lack of individuals (heroes) to aspire to. This is a serious and very real barrier for women (and you can substitute “race”

I feel like I’ve digested the series a bit more.

The problem for her was that she let her friend down by not stopping a rape, or even telling her about it later, and then got raped by the same (popular) guy, after showing up at his house, where she didn’t mention anything to anyone about him before getting stuck alone

Maybe, but I think it was stated that depression can look like anything and have no clear signs, which I can believe (backed by a variety of mild experience in myself/others). I think the idea is to be good to other people, and make some effort to see where they’re really coming from in their life. There is probably

Yeah It’s maybe kind of muddy where perhaps Clay was depicted as acting like he should have stayed almost independently of the idea that it made the room available for what happened next, which led to what happened after that. It’s maybe understandable that in his state, and considering his part in the story, that he

If the author of the video can see it to have been a suicide for revenge, is that so different than when the characters in the show say that it was for attention? I thought she just wanted people to care and try to understand her.

Also, I thought the graphic scenes were well handled. The suicide shook me and made my

I just finished watching it last night, and for me the show glamorized being a good person so as not to fail others, more than it did the suicide. I acknowledge it’s a real matter of perspective, and many of the main subjects can be seen very differently. I liked where Clay insists that there is always more that can

This song is a bummer. She meant to say this song is a bummer.

I had a lot of fun playing through it for the first time last year, despite the state of the PC version. It’s probably my favorite GTA, though I haven’t played 5 yet. It deserves the hell out of a patch/release that makes everything work as it really should on current systems and for the future.

The driving in GTA4

Empathy just isn’t that popular. Much seems to suggest we care for others by telling them to care about themselves harder, while the rest of it just sells us to ourselves.

I guess I haven’t logged in for a bit...

Anyway, I’m with you. Sports need to be fun for the participants or they’re pointless on a spiritual level, especially if they’re kids. There is clearly a huge economic side to sports, but their true value is that they’re an interesting/complex physical activity that promotes

If the sport were more popular here we’d probably produce an abundance of talented soccer players. The US is a great country for athletes, even if it’s less attractive to be one than it may appear.

College sports just use their athletes, and the leagues all seem to reward the teams who are continually the worst. Get

I figure the first things anybody there is going to want to do when marketing a new event, is to acknowledge the mishandling of GamerCon, and to offer assurances (possibly guarantees) that their thing will be nothing like it. Could be a great opportunity for a more honest and capable organization. Anyway, don’t let it

I liked John, but at this point I’d only like to see him guided through his prejudices and redeemed to some degree. He’s got the charisma to make that kind of growth memorable.

What an ugly thought.

“the onus ain’t on us to make them change...”

Internal storage will be more than adequate for me. It’s unexpectedly nice to think I can own tiny physical copies of current generation games, and what will perhaps become new classics. To have them on little flash cards, where the data transfer is speedy. A tear of joy... This is sort of what I had in mind for the
