And this is the problem with middle class/upper class feminism. You don’t care what women are doing, as long as they’re in a position of power. Hillary Clinton is pro-war and pro-Wall Street. No problem because she is a ‘strong woman’. Who cares if her politics are aligned with Thatchers?

So my husband had this co-worker who got sick a couple years back. He was feeling pretty gross, but you know - can’t take a day off! Sick days are for the weak! He starts driving out of town to a job site. He starts to feel really weird and suddenly he’s coughing up blood everywhere. He calls a relative who is a nurse

I think I was in junior high when The Birdcage came out. My bff and I saw it and immediately became obsessed. I remember she wrote a note to me highlighting all of our favorite parts and passed it to me in class. It’s so special when a 13 year old has a friend just as weird as them and instead of passing notes about

weather you like it out or not

I once said something on Gawker about how I love the way that the Olsen twins dress like little old ladies. Someone suggested that might have something to with them being sexualized at such a young age.

She always took care of herself though. As soon as the little ones grew up to look like models, it took a toll on Kim and Khloe. Dressing cute was not enough anymore. It used to be all about style. But these girls grow up to be insanely tall, lean, all natural (until someone talked to Kylie about lipfillers), and

She gives shit to mainstream beauty ideals and how she can still get laid anytime, which is not the same thing as never minding your diet or exercising.

I am usually on #teamNoKardashian but I’m feeling some real love for Khloe right now.

Actually, I think she had a pretty hard birth experience. Didn’t she nearly bleed out or something? She’s said she was really fearful of pregnancy the second time because the first nearly killed her.

Overheating is a risk factor for SIDS so especially with younger babies parents are advised not to keep the room too warm or have too many layers on babies. We keep our kids’ rooms (including baby) at 68.

My kid sleeps at about 67 degrees. They have fleece footie pajamas and usually blankets by that age (2+). Not that the blankets stay on. But there’s wearable blanket sacks you can zip them into, too.

I’ve been either crying or on the verge of tears for two days now. I’m glad this woman survived to bear witness. I mourn, with all civilized society, for those who did not survive. May her words bring some measure of comfort to their loved ones, in comfortless times.

Good. I was livid when I read this story, as it’s proof that we still have a very long way to go when it comes to LGBT equality in this country. The fight did not end just because gay people are allowed to get married in all 50 states. This couple have provided this child with a stable home, the biological mother even

Oh please. One can simultaneously believe this was a horrible thing while acknowledging the several bits of stupidity and obnoxiousness.

Here’s to not washing your hair often. When I first had mine dyed a super pale and high maintenance color I backed off washing but was used to it getting greasy in 2 days, now months later I wash maybe once a week (rinsing other days) and it never gets greasy and is way healthier. I blame Big Shampoo.

I graduated with a degree in comparative literature (*slinks off in shame*), and the person who gave our commencement speech said:

“I’d be very happy to debate the Kardashians anywhere / anytime / any topic. — Rebel Wilson”

That would be so *awesome*.
(Until Khloé Kardashian started misdirecting every topic to a chapter in her new Ass Workout Book.)

I am fed up with all these wealthy celebs trying to break the Internet. I pay GOOD MONEY for my Internet, and I will not stand for it to be broken by a bunch of entitled ruffians.

I know. Deklan is a terrible name.
