At this point I’ve had my fill of Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops and all the “popular” mutants. The movies never did any of them justice anyway (save Logan), so spending a series worth of episodes with characters like Thunderbird and Polaris, is perfect.

But isn’t that the point of this show? It’s not about the super-heroics of costumed X-Men saving the world. It’s about regular people discovering that they’re mutants in a world that hates and fears them, and how they try to survive when they don’t have super-secret high-tech lair under a mansion to hide in.
