Makes sense as well. I had an under rated valve for my car and it caused the same issue/sounded almost the same. I reckon not having one at all is why it sounds so extreme on this car.

Might not even be turbo. I have no idea. I know nothing about VW WRC. Just sounds like a BOV or bypass valve fluttering really bad trying to keep up everytime he lets off the throttle.

I wouldnt worry about TQ specs on a motor or tranny mount. If you are that worried about it..pull it back out..put a little loctite on it, and make it "TIGHT". Too loose and it could fall out...too tight..on a mount like that..no such thing as too tight..just dont strip or break the bolt.
