The fact that that show hasn't bombed horribly is shocking to me.

I love what I've listened to of Hardcore History, but I find it so difficult to fit into my podcast-listening; I have maybe a few hours a week when I can really get into these things, so each episode would potentially take a month or more to get through, and that's without listening to anything else.

That character description is so insane that it actually makes me kind of excited for Hotel.

The Mysteries of Laura
Dr. Ken
Truth Be Told
Limitless
Supergirl

Dang, I guess I missed the second one. Not a major loss or anything, but at least they gave it a bit of a chance?

Work of Art was fascinating, and kind of unintentionally hilarious. I really wish it had gotten more than one season.

Is there anywhere on the AV Club where Regular Show discussion happens? I know that they stopped the reviews, but is there any place that random threads pop up?

I'm gonna drop The Odd Couple, which seems to be doing far better than I expected it would.

I had guessed "Waterloo", though "Dancing Queen" was my second choice.

That one made me quite happy, though Sturgill Simpson losing in Americana tempered that.

I'd love her to get a show, though I'd like it to be from someone a bit more consistent than Murphy.

That'd be disappointing (especially since Crime Story doesn't seem like it'll be all that good), but it could happen, especially considering that Paulson wouldn't be able to be involved otherwise.

On the plus side, at least her presence in Scream Queens means that we should be free of Emma Roberts for AHS season 5. Though that may be a neutral change depending on who they replace her with.

That's my fear as well. AHS is at its best when the absurdity is sincere and can play off of a core of legitimate emotion; the fact that Scream Queens is going for intentional comedy misses the point entirely. Not that horror comedy can't work, because it absolutely can. But Ryan Murphy is the last person that I

I still haven't seen the last Freak Show, but now I'm excited. Since we're nearing the end of the season, which is usually when the characters start dying, I'm gonna hold out hope that Roberts gets murdered by…well, anyone actually.

Sucks to hear that it's ratings are deflating, but given the lack of other sitcoms Fox has to bank on I'm hoping that even low ratings will carry it through for awhile.

Wow, those casting choices are…not good, but at the same time highly increase the likelihood that this will be an utter trainwreck, which could be extremely entertaining in its own way. I hope for the best for Curtis' sake, but seriously, she's gonna be surrounded by terrible acting.

I went with Louisiana as well. Florida wasn't even on my radar; for some reason, I've never really considered it a southern state.

I came up with Oklahoma too, even though I knew that it premiered far earlier than the year that the category listed. I should probably watch The Music Man at some point.

I might as well ask this here: I missed out on Broad City last year, but after hearing all the praise for it I'm interested in giving it a shot. Is this the kind of show that I need to start from the beginning, or can I just jump in tonight and make sense of it?
