My wife and I are seriously considering one (or two?) of these as both of our current rides are getting really long in the tooth and we just need something to get us to-and-from work (we live within walking distance of pretty much everything else). For folks who aren’t enamored with all the latest (unnecessary) tech

It actually is a very good game.  Bomb Squad (another Intellivision voice game) is pretty enjoyable as well and worth buying Jason.  Definitely set aside an afternoon and take the time to get into both games...you’ll be glad you did.

Sounds like somebody bought it in CA where it’s a $5K car and relicensed it here in NY where anything more than 10 years old is a rotted out mess, hence the higher “regional” price.  They deserve a CP for this stunt alone.

I owned an ‘04 Vibe and can attest that the front passenger seat was horribly uncomfortable, no doubt due to it being designed to fold flat so you could carry long cargo.  Aside from that and the defective 5-speed manuals that tended to fail around 100K, they were good cars.

What I heard was that Giugiaro designed this with the idea it would be the MkII Scirocco. When VW decided to design the MkII in-house, Giugiaro’s design became the Impulse.  Would love to know for sure if this is true or not, but whether it is or isn’t both the Scirocco and the Impulse are very attractive cars IMHO.

Was it Dorschel or Ide Volkswagen?

I think you’re underestimating the negative reaction the American buying public would have to a potential sale of Chrysler/Dodge/RAM/Jeep to a Chinese company. It’s one thing to spend $100 on a product made in China (especially when a US-made equivalent isn’t available as is often the case with consumer products), but

Sigh. I saw this bug’s ad last week...it’s here in town, it’s the year I want, and it’s something I can afford. Problem is that I’m rebuilding my garage right now and have no place to safely store it. Was hoping it might stay unsold until the garage was done, but I guess now it won’t. Guess I’m never destined to own a

The pic of the 1st gen Tempo is *exactly* the car I drove from ‘90-’93 as a college student...a two-tone blue ‘84 Tempo. Bought it at bank auction for $600 and promptly had to replace the seized engine. ‘84 was the only year that had the “dangling” front seat belt mounts and a carburetor (1bb no less). Mated with the

My first brand new car was a ‘93 Tracer. Was in college and working 3rd shift at a hospital, needed reliable transportation. My crappy $600 ‘84 Tempo died on me one too many times, so I convinced my father to co-sign a loan for the Tracer. Why a Tracer? My grandfather was a Mercury guy who was near the end of his

I started watching this vid out of curiosity, then realized it was a chain of car washes we have in our area. Then once they exited the wash and I could see across the street, I realized it was the location 5 minutes away from my office. These types of car washes are the norm in our area (western NY state) and this

1998 VW Passat GLS V6, bought it new...the most expensive AND least reliable car I ever owned. CEL light was on constantly. Good thing I bought an extended warranty for it...it paid for the replacement of the aluminum suspension that went bad with less than 50K on the clock. Went through two catalytic converters, had

I had a ‘93 Tracer...my first brand new car. Was a good reliable ride that I eventually gave to my mother, who ran it into the ground. Definitely had the standard Ford 1.9L engine in it. Not 100% sure after all these years who made the automatic transmissions, but I *think* it was Mazda.

As somebody who daily drives a Dodge Caliber (2010 5-speed), I can say that the Fit is not a replacement for it. I like to load lumber into my car now and again (fold-flat front seats are the best thing EVER), and I have no problem getting 8' lengths into my Caliber. The Fit maxes out at 7'9" or so...oops.

As somebody who actually owns and drives a Caliber every day (2010 Heat 5-speed), it’s not as bad as everybody likes to think it is. It’s certainly not the greatest car in the world, but it’s a totally servicable daily driver. The loaner Chevy Cobalt my wife got stuck with once was far worse of a car.
