Except you can’t just release your engine from your car and ride your engine around, can you?

3rd owner here.

I think this type of post happens almost every time Mother Nature disproves the global warming pundits.

Not everyone can afford to do this sadly

I cringe every time I see someone pop the car into gear and drive off almost immediately after the starter motor kicks the engine on. It’s not a complicated concept - if you turn the car on and the engine’s sitting at a high idle, the engine is warming itself up (so wait until the revs fall a bit) or it’s one of

But that lack of brake cooling though...

Don’t they affect brake cooling?

you can argue that case for street driving but not for the track. going from 140 to 60 at the end of the straightaway will be too much energy for the electric motor to reclaim. you’re going to need the pads and rotors to function.

the Model S has a big issue with the heat generated while being driven all out. it’ll go

...and then you get overheated brakes because of no ventilation.

Brakes massively overheat with no airflow, so no improving lap times.   Great for 1 way runs at the salt lake and that's it.

It got cold and all the sudden they started calling it climate change.

This good news. Ginetta is a scrappy little car company.

People who do their own alignments with tape measures or silly strings are measuring in 1/16 inch increments,

Neutral: From a family of riders. My dad and all his brothers rode at some point, and a couple of them still do. One of them owns his own custom shop and practically rebuilds bikes from the ground up.

Yeah lets pretend its Trumps fault and not crappy overpriced motorcycles that are to blame.  Seriously they have been circling the drain for years now.  Plus they all knew they would get tariffs moving production overseas.

All... “coming soon”... “As soon as we retire a billion of mature debt, followed by 2.1 billion of mature debt”

Hey, no worries. “coming soon”...

He was going to St. Paul. Unless you are suggesting he detour AGAIN to make it where he was going... the Albert Lea location is already several miles detour off I-35— in ugly, iced over conditions.

He was here. The McDonald’s across the parking lot threw him out when they closed (Sunday 10PM) so he’s sitting in his car shivering. I just ran into the HyVee next door and looked over to see them in the corner of the motel parking lot... Neither of them seemed like the usual Tesla Brand Ambassadors— probably because

General gripe...
