The Supra did not need subframe or differential mount weld fixes as far as I know. Nor did its engine suffer from potential rod bearing failures but only have the manufacturer recall apply to one chassis code (E46). The M Coupe is a fun car to drive, but like many BMW’s, shitty to own long term. False equivalency.

Former mechanic here. The out of spec is “settling” of the suspension, and wear of components. But the amount varies greatly on suspension design.

I did my own alignments on my (79) RX-7 since I was replacing the worn out suspension off and on over a couple months. It’s really not that hard, you just need four jackstands, two pipes, some string, and an accurate ruler, look it up.

This is true. A friend of mine is a commercial photographer (mainly food) and he used a Hasselblad for medium- and Sinar for large-format. He was able to get a digital back for both cameras, but it cost about the same as a decent, mid-range family sedan.
