I couldn’t agree more. One of the main reasons old cars are so fun to drive is you can actually see out of them. Unfortunately it’s also the reason my wife won’t part with her crap can 2003 Liberty..
I don’t know if cars have gotten too good, but beltlines have gotten too high and outward visibility has gotten terrible.
Picking out one detail: Signing up for a brand new Factory Five Mk4 or Superformance Shelby gets you a better car than an original Cobra in every detail but authenticity. It rides better, runs better, shoot - it even gets better mileage. The only thing it doesn’t have is actual history.

Are you upset because a company lobbied the government or because you perceive that company is bad? If it is the former, I suggest you look into the ridiculousness that is the ethanol mandate for out gasoline.
They should also work on making parking spaces wider. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to park with the yellow line going down the middle of my Excursion in parking lots, because otherwise it won’t fit.
It may just be that people are worn down and numb by people putting LED’s in halogen reflectors. I tried to believe the hype that they were brighter and could focus the light if I bought high quality LED’s so I tried it with 4 different $100-$150 pairs in my truck. It sure was bright! But it essentially vomited light…
