That 200+ feet would probably triple with doubling the speed limit, and so forth.

Why do people feel this consistent need to film/picture themselves doing illegal things in cars? One of the worst I never understand is people that photograph themselves when they’re pulled over to post on social media. The absolute LAST thing a police officer needs to deal with is you fumbling around with a cell…
Funny how the cops can arrest you if you post a video of yourself speeding, but post a video of someone else driving recklessly and they’re all
I’ve always wondered why guys like this get arrested (which they undoubtedly deserve) while the people who set cross-country speed records don’t. It’s impossible to set that record without averaging at least 100mph, which is clearly illegal.
Neither should biological sex or marital status. But if they have statistics that say some groups will cost them more money than others, they have to make up that money somewhere. From a business standpoint, you either charge the higher risk groups higher premiums or you spread it out and the lower risk groups are…
And married people pay less! If anything, being married made me way more likely to drive my car off a cliff.
They don’t sell enough. Funny thing is, they shouldn’t sell them at all....not according to the bad reviews I’ve read.
3rd Gear:
A hand crank pump can move gasoline. If need be into a generator to temporarily power a high-volume gasoline pump. A few solar panels can move fuel if needed, A few Watt-hours.
And, it’s all done in the guise of “safety”. What a crock.
And if you’re a frequent traveler (even just a few times a year) spring for TSA Pre (or Global Entry if you anticipate traveling out of the country in the next few years — it comes with TSA Pre). You never have to remove your liquids, laptop, or your shoes when you fly and it’s infinitely worth the $75 price tag…
Maybe this is just me speaking for myself, but I think dating someone less than half your age is intrinsically creepy.
I’ll probably get “flamed” for this, but whatever.
people are the problem for these massive fires, they build closer to nature so the Park service can’t do preemptive fires to control the vegetation, so finally you get one massive fire. 50 years ago Park service would clear the brush by setting smaller controllable fires but thats not done anymore.
How awful for pedestrians or bicyclists. I wouldn’t think for one second Florida DOT would consider other road users, only ways to move more cars to induce more people to Git in yer car and clog up the roads!
The Truck Almost Hits The Train
Good points! The thread-chaser thing is something I don't do that I really should. And as far as penetrating oil, my home brew 50/50 of mobil one synthentic atf and acetone is the best thing I've used
Most people think me insane, but whenever I buy a new car, I spend many hours of labor pulling off every exhaust, suspension and brake fastener, slathering them with anti-seize and/or threadlocker. Living in the snow-belt, rust and corrosion are a part of life, even with annual rustproofing sprays (which I also do).…
True about impact wrenches, but depending on what you’re doing, breaking the head off on an engine block / transmission housing might not be worth the risk.
Actually, a different combination of words:
