Someone suggest to the Bonneville Speed Week governing body that they should allow drafting...
If the video goes viral by Monday, the DMV clerk will be fired on Tuesday, and that employee’s replacement will be contacting the vehicle owner to explain that a “terrible mistake” has been made, and they are recalling and reclaiming the plates.
We had a joke that you could probably get car plates for a boat (without a trailer) in our state, but no one ever tried.
I can not tell from the text of the story if the author states that the vehicle is registered for use on public streets. The photo shows what appears to be a wiper (usually required to register a vehicle even if it does not have a windshield to wipe), with several inspection stickers.
If this guy has such disdain for operating a motor vehicle, he should not have his license suspended, he should have his license revoked. And the judge should tell him to ride the bus, where he can stretch out, prop his feet up, sleep, and relax to his heart’s content.
Intelligence and wealth seem to be completely independent, and often mutually exclusive.
Seems like most of those high paying jobs are a lot like failed high schools. They require that someone is there to raise their hand and say “Here.” when attendance is called, and nothing else.
The Hyundai Elantra unseated the Toyota Camry as the “Best Selling Car In America”, but Hyundai decided to push sportiness and fashion in their beige-mobile, instead of letting it bask in the beige-ness that beige car drivers (commuters) want and need. As an American, we know that you did not abolish the Canadian penny, but rather exported them all across your southern border (by giving them as change to unsuspecting tourists using US currency). They now infest the pockets of unsuspecting US shoppers and are regularly refused by US retailers who want to be paid in…
Just a reminder to everyone who has spent the last 30 years deriding all of the T-Body variants as being just “a $hitty f@cking Chevette”, that the 118 HP Vauxhall 2300 HS (Probably the fastest, most luxurious small car on the road anywhere in the world.) is just as much “a $hitty f@cking Chevette” (sarcasm) as the…

The headline really misses the meat buried in the article:
Those were not presented as concepts, they were presented as Gazoo Racing built race cars. It’s probably a really accurate presentation of what the Super GT modified version of the car will look like, though Super GT is now silhouette racers...
Wanna stop presenting the pictures of the modified-for-racing display vehicle as the production car?
