a lot of movie theatres restrict R films for people 18 and younger— theatres i grew up going to (i’m twenty three and from the south) had a policy that no one under eighteen could go to R movies without an adult/guardian, and no one under eighteen could go to R movies after nine at night.

yes! i have never played an FPS before overwatch (partly because i’m not a twitchy player and partly because None of them Ever Have Girls) and i love overwatch so much

the problem with this mentality is that it places the onus on the person being harmed to behave like an adult, instead of the people intending offense/harm. like, it’s effective, sure, but it didn’t do shit for me as a kid when i was vividly suicidal from bullying.
