Tolerating each other’s bullshit since 1993 over here.
My husband and I have been a couple since 1998. There are days when we annoy the Hell out of each other, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. We work well as a team. My only advice: find hobbies you can partake in together, and find hobbies you can partake in on your own.
I’ve seen two and one couple ended up divorcing. I saw Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke and Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany. Each couple were out walking with their children. Fingers crossed for Jennifer and Paul!
“If we’re going to do this, we gotta do it now! No one will remember it because they’ll be focused on that other split! We’ll have some privacy with this! Move move move!”
You took the words right out of my mouth (fingers).
Yeah, I always wonder if it will take something like an outbreak of polio to finally straighten out all these anti-vaxxers.
A little shitting is good fer ya
Also, dismissing experts in the field and instead going with non-experts who validate your personal beliefs.
yes. our nation is WOEFULLY lacking in critical thinking skills.
I’m just glad she learned this lesson for a disease like rotavirus instead of something more dangerous or more likely to have long term effects!
You can apply that logic/advice to people on both sides of the political spectrum.
It’s not only that, it’s that people don’t know how to critically evaluate the sources that they find. They think everything on the internet is true and if someone wrote something, it must be correct. Look at the damn source and THINK about it.
“I scoured everything I could possibly find about why vaccines might be harmful. I became pretty convinced.”
I’m amazed a teacher went all that time without catching and spreading something worse to her family. Schools are a Petri dish of disease. I guess that’s just proof that herd immunity does work.
I’m glad it wasn’t anything worse than rotavirus that helped to convince her. This could have had a much more tragic ending.
And she is the teacher.....which makes it even more crazy
Well it’s a shame it took her whole family getting sick but it’s refreshing to hear an anti-vaxxer say “I was wrong, I was batshit, I’ve since researched and have changed my mind”.
Yep! Nothing trendy or sexy tbh but it’s solid stuff, especially for work. Also like their outerwear and activewear. I live in a cold climate and work in a conservative office so Lands End is pretty much perfect for me.
I’m actually not surprised by this. I mean, I understand that working the middle of the market is a difficult position right now, but it’s certainly not impossible.
Canvas was too expensive for me and that’s all I know about this failure.
