I wouldn't be so sure right now. The UK is having a referendum to leave Europe this year. If the British Trumpkins (or as we call them UKIPers) win and in the aftermath the EU offers Scotland a chance to sneak back in the backdoor as an independent nation then it's likely we'd jump at the chance.
