Having had dealt with super stoned night shift employees, I endorse your theory. 

I’m pretty sure the common thread here is marijuana. The employees got freaked out by a customer and hid in the back: high. Dude goes to CVS in the middle of the night looking for cheese and spends 45 minutes wandering around the store: high.

The only conclusion I can come up with is that the employees had just indulged in some particularly paranoia-inducing weed together. Because that’s just fucking weird.

His Twitter meltdown deserves its own post because it is downright horrifying. The man needs psychiatric help.

I would say that part of the reason why folks like Greenpeace aren’t sabotaging the pipeline, is the fear that it would undermine the message of the protests... and possibly even cause more harm to the overall message (and to the natives) in the long term.
