After having some bad flashbacks and panic attacks while visiting my hometown I looked up the man who sexually assaulted me in high school on facebook to make sure he still didn’t live there. It was a mistake.

That’s depressing.

Just thought it might be worth examining why you have the perspective that you do, friend.

I agree that he should have reacted differently, but they don’t exactly teach deescalation tactics to people just because they’re athletic and large.

Please, tell me how it was proportional in the legal context.

Is an adult woman the same thing as a toddler to you?

Very much in agreement.

Start over.

Sage’s weakness has always been his technical ability, he’s going to lose to more technical fighters most of the time. His camp really needs to get him out of the weight room and on the mat.

Fair enough.

I think they are both at fault but I understand and respect your perspective. I also agree that he overreacted. She isn’t a young child, she’s an adult woman who should have some responsibility (and I mean legally, not the actual physical attack he responded with).

What’s your problem with me?

Yeah they’re totally awesome.

My point is they are both in the wrong, not that he should be excused for his behavior. If it came across otherwise then I apologize.

Agreed.

I understand your frustration and often feel it myself. I don’t really have a worthwhile answer for you. Unfortunately it seems that politics and governing have a cyclical nature and have through out history, even back to antiquity. My hope is that with each cycle we get a little more refined and learn at least

To quote Tony Soprano, “Italians are just Jews with better food.”

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Or some shit.

Yeah, understandable. As in, I can put myself in his shoes and understand why he did it. That doesn’t make it justifiable or right. I really don’t care to debate semantics.
