These are also the same people who claim that multiple cities in the US today are “under Sharia law.” Which, I don’t understand why they care so much about it. Under (their stereotypical interpretation of) Sharia law, you can force girls to marry older men, stone gay people, teach religious zealotry in schools . . .…
Such a good take. Lots of data analysis backs this up. Poor people, on the whole, voted Clinton. The Trump support stemmed from a massive influx of white, middle-class voters who see poor people as leeches.
I understand that a person like that doesn’t want to risk their position but, dude. Just release the tape and put up a GoFundMe page that says “I’m the The Apprentice producer who released the tape of Trump using the n-word and got him impeached. Put my kids through college.” Boom, done.
Reminds me of how right-wing nuts who believe in the Pizzagate delusion always specify that Hillary Clinton herself is molesting girls. It’s only gross if it’s gay.
There’s an effectively zero percent chance that Mike Pence will start a nuclear war.
There is not an effectively zero percent chance that Donald Trump will start a nuclear war.
QED, Pence is better than Trump. In the short term, at least.
“*What the fuck does spending money on “women” even mean?”
If you’re a Republican I assume it means paying settlements for sexual harassment lawsuits.
If you’re EA and you have a stranglehold on multiple popular franchises and IPs, then you can eat the bad press associated with this kind of stuff. But if you’re a smaller developer, even a smaller AAA developer, with new concepts you’re asking consumers to take a chance on, I think they’re going to see that stacking…
I don’t understand EA’s infatuation with this system. They did the same thing in the Mass Effect multiplayer modes. Getting rewards for a different class I don’t use and don’t like through lootboxes never made me think “Hm, maybe I should try that different class and play longer,” it always made me think “Hm, all the…
Whoever wrote that statement was definitely trolling by calling the statements “deplorable” although I can’t tell which direction they were trolling from.
Broad point, his endorsement of Roy Moore is screamingly awful, as are most things Trump does.
But what I find more interesting is the way he continually insists that Democrats are somehow to blame for not accepting Republican policies. He does this constantly, from the tax cuts to ACA repeal to everything else. “The…
Metal Gear Solid 2 absolutely nailed that this was going to happen.
Sunk cost fallacy.
Lewandowski definitely doesn’t deserve more money but he needs a vacation in a mental health facility. Dude seems legitimately ill. Going on MSNBC to talk about an ongoing investigation that he will almost certainly be subpoenaed in if not arrested as a result of, writing that straight-up unhinged letter to the…
I’ll get a small Frosty if I eat at Wendy’s. That’s pretty much it.
You’re implying that Trump is a “functional human” the next day, which is demonstrably untrue.
You can see this dynamic in literally every family on Earth. There’s always someone in the family who a few people think is a monster and the rest of the family think is great because they’ve had completely different experiences with the person in question.
I’m not someone who thinks reality is completely subjective…
If we’re going to make predictions I’d bet dollars to donuts that they’ll repurpose Ted Bundy consulting on the Green River Killer for this show.
It’s a decent ending if it’s just one season, imo. If there’s a second season, something horrible is going to have to happen (presumably, Micro’s family dies by Jigsaw’s hands) to motivate the band to get back together, and that ending is gonna feel cheap in retrospect.
It drove me and the wife nuts when Billy put a gun to one of the hostage’s heads and said “COME OUT FRANK OR I’LL” whatever, blah blah blah, and Frank does it. It’s a circle, man. His back is turned to one side. Go around and shoot him in the back of the head.
