I do read his stuff on occasion, I thought he did great work when there was all that speculation about Russians hacking Eastern power grids that he effectively debunked. I don’t know if I would disagree with you that there is room for skepticism. I just feel his long periods of silence on the Russia issue when serious

Just off the dome, Brandon whathisname forcing his employees to work crazy hours without pay to get the game out the door is slighlty more crazy than the fact that he wanted his next wide-release game to be entitled “Whore of the Orient”.

Technically, there are multiple ways to “solve a case” in the sense that if you screw up the interrogations badly enough, the game puts you in an action scene to railroad you to the next clue. But car chases have the Driver problem of you “losing sight” of the car if it gets more than two blocks ahead of you,

Just goes to show how his version of events still wins out among his set. That was the narrative he set up through his show, his stand-up: “I’m a dumb guy who compulsively masturbates.” And his friends, while at least not calling the women liars, are perfectly willing to perpetuate that same narrative, his narrative.

I think it was Frontline that did a fantastic history of Wikileaks and interviewed some of the people who have left the organization over the least decade or so, who seem to all have an incredibly negative view of Assange. Pretty much anyone who knows him and talks about him publically talks about how much of a

That impulse makes reading Glenn Greenwald basically impossible. He’ll ignore a staggering amount of evidence of Russia collusion to shit on corporate media for talking about it. I get that he has beef with the American media, the Democrats under Obama, and the intelligence services over the Snowden affair. But he’s

My favorite part of the clip was Hannity saying the “inconsistencies . . . that I [meaning Hannity] showed”. Like he was the one who broke the story, or something. He didn’t engage in investigative journalism! He just asked the guy whether he tried to molest children and the guy didn’t say “no”. That was a freebie!

Agreed. My dad, loyal Fox viewer, had the following reaction when Hannity was forced to finally accept some dull, fractured reflection of reality and admit the Seth Rich story he built up was bullshit: “Well, it looks like they got to Hannity, too.”

I didn’t have the energy to ask who “they” are, specifically, or how

Bioware fan here: Don’t hold your breath.

I still remember the moment from the last game where I kept getting killed by the DL-44 or whatever it’s called and I thought to myself, “Hm, that’s weird, why is everyone using a pistol?” and then finding out the preorder bonus was the most powerful weapon in the game. And then thinking “Oh, I see. Fuck you, too.”

Not to pile on, but . . . you’re still buying the game. The truth is these practices aren’t going to end until a significant amount of people give up the actual game to make a statement. All what you’re doing tells EA is that “we haven’t pushed people far enough yet. Maybe next time, we can push them a little farther.”

That game taught me some important life lessons, honestly. Not about physics, but I can remember making every droid with the big giant rectangular wheely bottom because it was “the biggest and the fastest and the coolest” and then being disappointed when I couldn’t get up narrow ramps.

It’s worth noting that games like Rebel Assault, Rogue Squadron, Super Star Wars, the original Battlefront series, etc. are all games that people can come back to later, revisit them as a piece of gaming history, still enjoy them for what they are.

I think the worst thing that EA and many other AAA developers are doing

It really makes sense, karma-wise, that the first time the Titans have a shot at holding the AFC South in years, the Jags decide to stop being so completely terrible at everything.

Tucker Carlson: “Tonight on the show, you won’t believe what’s playing the race card now.”

*shot of a cameraman reflected in a mirror, pointing his camera straight at it*

TC: *shakes head* Tsk tsk. Is this really America?

This incredibly depressing news will at least be somewhat offset if (and that’s a big if, admittedly) that troglodyte Roy Moore finally falls after his own heinous sexual activities was revealed today, as well.

I don’t know whether he did it or not, I legitimately have no idea (since no one has actually said that it happened to them). But I mean . . . he’s said “there’s nothing to the rumors.” If he’s guilty then his misdeeds should be forcefully dragged into the light, obviously, but if he’s not guilty then I’m sure he’s

Yeah, I know plenty of Trump voters too. And they are scared. Scared of minorities. Scared of equality. Scared of their privilege being taken away. Boo. Hoo.

Let’s not forget that Trump, in his “tell it like it is” way, was willing to go farther than the vast majority of Republicans and say on national television that women who get abortions need to be punished. Moving those goal posts, signaling to the most rabid conservatives out there.

Reminds me of the story that went around after the election of the Muslim woman who voted for Trump because she disagreed with Bill Clinton’s policy on Lebanon. Some people really just cannot see the forest for the trees.
