“When I die, the scientists of the future, they’re gonna find it all. They gonna know, once there was a Hushpuppy, and she live with her daddy in the Bathtub”
I cannot read that, let alone watch it, without my eyes filling with tears.

Catinca Untaru in Tarsem Singh’s The Fall. Although I’m not sure that counts as “acting”, since she allegedly thought a lot of it was real. Maybe that’s just the indie cinema equivalent of an urban legend, though.
Man, Poe’s legal troubles and the way they decimated her career really make me angry and sad. Haunted was such a beautiful and creepy album, I really wanted to hear more from her.
So I was walking down the street today and someone came up to me offering to sell me The A.V. Club. I said “sure how much is it?” at which point they said “oh about tree fiddy” that’s when I realized I was next to a lake in Scotland. Damn Loch Ness Monster trying to get my damn tree fiddy again.

The movie is directed by the guy that played “E” on the television series Entourage.
If he acted any more handsome I would literally die.
Crystal Skull has Cate Blanchett as the villain (and as much as there is to complain about in that movie, I think Blanchett was aces in the role), a few truly beautiful pieces of camerawork, and Karen Allen returning as Marion and marrying Indy at the end. Lost World doesn’t have anything to argue over that - even the…
I’m just going to leave this here:
It’s Computer Room #4, on D- Level, you know it’s right next to Computer Room #2 ... don’t forget the even/odd numbering scheme, I don’t know how many times I’ve had to walk all the way back down the hall. Oh, and just a tip, if you take the north elevator to D-Level, there’s a cafe right there with a terrific chicken…

Replace James and Remini with Jay Harrington and Portia de Rossi, put him in charge of research at a huge soul sucking corporation, throw in some wacky scientists and nihilist cogs, and you’ve got a show I’d watch.
No, he’s 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42 years old right now.
It could have been decent enough - l actually quite enjoyed it - if not for the fact he completely missed the point, fetishizing the violence and making the book’s very much non-super heroes ULTRA super.
Kaneda, what do you see?
Wasn’t it just because one of the actors lost his healthcare because he hadn’t appeared on enough things recently so Lynch included the scene so the actor could get enough time in a show to get it back?
With each passing day, I mourn The Return. I miss it so much. It’s a gift, and may go down as one of — if not singularly — my favorite piece of tv/cinema/visual art.
I thought it was one of the better episodes of the season. They should get a reviewer who isn’t afraid to give this show a good review.
