The writer and showrunner is Craig Mazin, who made the fantastic Chernobyl a few years ago. He’s also an authentic gamer and describes this as his dream project, so I think there’s reason to think it will be good.

The Dark Knight is no more responsible for crap like the Snyderverse (come at me) than Star Wars is for the glut of tiresome imitator space movies from the 1980s, or Nirvana is for the entirety of late 90s rock. Innovators are not responsible for imitators.

The Dark Knight is a wonderful, awe-inspiring film, though I maintain that Memento and (especially) the overlooked Prestige are his best works. Both movies are built around mysteries where you don’t really know you’re watching a mystery until the final sequence, when everything clicks together and the horrible truth…

If it lets games run at 1080p with better frame rates that’s perfectly fine for me.

Focusing on 4K is a colossal waste. Focus on framerates, more complex simulations, higher player counts, ANYTHING but fucking 4K. Breath of the Wild looks just fine on my 4K set thanks to decent upscaling, and I would be perfectly contented if the next Switch remained a 1080p system.

If it were me, I would do my best to make sure the dog had everything it needed to piss and shit all over the master bedroom.

It’s still the best of the series from a gameplay perspective. The latest game is fun for the huge number of characters and options, but none of them live up to the feel of playing Melee.

Personally, any cop that walks off, should be fired, and their pensions forfeited. You want to show solidarity with a killer.. fine, that shows that you place your “team” above what is legally, ethically, and morally right, which means you do NOT deserve to wear the badge.
