Signs are basically pointless in retail.
Omg. I used to work in a thrift store and people would ask "Is this stuff used?" And then I died multiple times from my head exploding.
I've never worked in food service...but having worked in retail and as a tour guide...good lord are people dumb.
As someone who lived in small towns in AK until she was 18...yes, you definitely wouldn't want to tip badly enough that you would be embarrassed to go back or to have pissed someone off.
Right?! So rarely does this happen. I never had a food service job in AK (just retail and tourism) so I'm sad I was missing out while living in this magical land of tipping lol
Alaska is finally good at something! I say that as someone who is from there/grew up there. I wonder if it has anything to do with all the tourism?
Science!!! This is fascinating.
I'm most surprised by Brian @ GPA. Who would have thought, right?!
I've never heard of this before! I feel like cutting garlic just to try this out.
ugh. The smell!
I tried roasting garlic once...but I am very impatient!
You can pry my garlic press from my cold, dead hands. Cutting garlic is like my worst thing. Yes, I'm a heathen.
I mean, a) Red Robin is pretty much the best when it comes to stupid suburb chain restaurants. and b) alcohol + ice cream = yes. I bet it tastes like a fruit smoothie!
There's a lot of that going around, I think.
Zach's "How does it feel to be the last Black president?" omg. I lol'd at my desk.
I'm sure L.C. is happy she lives in that world also!
Callie, I'm really disappointed that L.C. didn't actually shave her head. Like super disappointed. I might have to leave work early.
You found out my secret!
