I think that's probably part of it. I also think the taste level of a lot of Cavalli lovers trends to the vegas showgirl in Miami side of things. I went into his store in nyc once and was like, "who the f wears this shit?"

Haha, I think mine were of average size and looked more like hipster comicbook characters—I couldn't draw that well, so I think that was my professors main complaint!

I'm not saying that fashion illustration doesn't have it's faults or contribute pressures. I didn't tell anyone "just art calm down." I am saying, as a person who studied fashion design, a majority of fashion illustrations look like this and it's very common.
