And never learn to accommodate if not befriend those who have different personalities? If they have personality disorders that’s one thing...but just pruning one’s social network to have personality homogeneity sounds off to me.

Yep :) My only regret is I didn’t watch it in IMAX. Aurally speaking - no complaints at all.

Oh yes, some of it reminded me of Bach’s Baroque pieces for some reason. I think they went in for cosmic, epic and quasi-religious in a classical sense for Interstellar. Drums would have punctuated that aesthetic and not in a facilitative manner, methinks.

Umm...Doctor Who has had a recognisable theme right from day 1, and NuWho has some gorgeous music by Murray Gold. I am not sure I recall anything specific about the BSG score apart from the opening credits. BSG was captivating until it wasn’t. That said, I do agree that Bear McCreary’s music is not generic

Interstellar had a great score, but not hummable as such. Worked brilliantly with the movie though.
