Not only the prime audience, but the people now working in the marketing department. It’s already been happening with other brands, but pop culture or connections to the 90's and 00's are continuing to come in Ads. Not sure if we will enjoy it or roll our eyes at it.

and so begins the Gawker come back

I’ve been wanting to play a game like this since Pokemon snap was released on the N64.

Guess I need to put “visit Venice” on a higher priority for my to do list, before it goes completely under water.

I was listening to the podcast today. Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes are hosting a fun and silly podcast. I feel most people don’t go on there taking it very seriously or overthinking their answers.

I don’t really have this defined but for the sake of argument if we agree that much like any media we consume, there are different levels in the type of comedians that perform or audiences enjoy.

I recall the comparison being something along the lines of Community being about actual nerd culture and BBT making fun of nerd culture...

There’s no law saying a giraffe can’t play football ...supreme court justice can’t... *check notes*... sell out their country for $$$

I feel there are options to help modernize the works without making them superhero’s or going too far into sci-fi. Dracula could lean into a story similar to FXs the strain. Mummy should do the South American story and could be a soft sequel (again set in modern times) aren’t we using laser mapping to find lost cities

I take back on the negative things I’ve said about their children. They are as well adjusted as they could be, considering all this nonsense.

I’m open to it... just stay away from my Texan god given right to Turn Left on Red...

The Specialist? Assassins?

Remember finding El Mariachi at the local video rental store. Great Film, I often wonder how many more directors/movies i miss out on because they get lost in all these streaming options. The content is easier to access than it was in the 90s, yet so much harder to find.

special meal thing.... every other Sunday (after church) for us. Unless we misbehaved at church then no McDonalds

ugh... i enjoy listening to Abraxas...

The movie was fun but it didn’t support the positive hype that was coming from the reviews (if critics saw the f-bomb version, i guess it makes more sense). But since it bombed, the ending gives it a good bookend. Barry stays in a universe where his dad is free, minus batfleck. Gunn and Safran are free to move on with

Is there an honorable mention section for all the Latino stand ups you looked over?

I would argue that McDonalds in the 80s is much different than today... not so much of their corporate culture but just the way Americans eat fast food. Today there are higher amounts of people that are eating McDonalds multiple times a week (a day?) where as 40 years ago the norm might have been more along the lines

I remember seeing ads for this and thinking wow, looks like Ariel Winter doesn’t have any options for work. TV actors struggling to find work after successful tv show ends isn’t new but with all the streaming options I really am surprised she couldn’t get a streaming TV show/Streaming Movie/Hallmark something.

man who took job and went to work states job wasn’t that great and only did it for the paycheck.
