There was a girl I had a thing for in college, and then one night the topic of religion came up and she told me that she didn't believe in evolution or the big bang theory.
By far my favorite Mountain Goats recording, if just for the awesome lyrics to "Emerging":
I went to a show on that tour too (Northampton, MA. They didn't have the EP's yet.) It was a fantastic show, he closed it with "Goldenboy" followed by "Jenny", it was awesome.

"See the Poots in their next adventure, on a German U-Boat in: Das Poot!"
My Dad and I would always watch Ren & Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life when I was a kid. It was great having him laugh just as hard as me.
"My teacher said every time a man gets his gas cap back an angel gets its wings!"

1. Separation Sunday
2. Boys and Girls
3. Almost Killed Me
4. Stay Positive
5. Teeth Dreams
6. Heaven is Whenever

My brother is 6 years older than me and he came of age right as Grunge was really blowing up. I remember being in my first grade class listening to "In Utero" on a disc man. But my brother also brought in all the crappy grunge too. He was a big fan of The Nixons, Stabbing Westward, Tonic, etc. It was kind of a dark…
