T1 at RRR is no joke. A fast T9 onto the huge straight, then you stare down that sand berm when you enter the braking zone. I’ve watched too many bikes crash because the riders target fixate on the (relatively short) runoff and huge wall of dirt outside the turn. RIP to the driver.

Well sure, but at a certain point you have to wonder whether your loved ones might think your hobbies are selfish to the point that they are not as important to you as they should be. If my spouse or children were out there on the track with me that is a different story.

I would like to add that Roebling in general is a very safe track with flat elevation, constant radius turns, lots of run off area, and sand traps to catch the cars.
