Not a development seat, but being a well funded Ferrari reserve driver during the COVID era with a middling Carlos Sainz coming in isn’t a terrible place to be.  It’s not like Hulkenberg hasn’t seen more action in 2020 than anyone thought he would, and he’d probably have a seat next year if not for Haas bringing in

New hire engineer - “Think of the weight savings if we get rid of all those labels!”

It looks like a toddler automobile that walked out of its parents’ closet dressed up as a Studebaker Commander.

No way, that shit tastes criminally bad.

Chevrari Camarorty.

At least in the case of ACV, it sounds like they’re doing a free PS5 upgrade if you buy the PS4 version and same for Xbox.  I feel like it’s going to be a while before I actually have my hands on a PS5 due to the preorder volume/supply issues, so I’ll probably just bite the bullet.

Easier to nap when you’ve engaged AutoPilot, with full self-flying capability.

I’m not in disagreement with regards to EV efficiency. The issue is that their need for power is on an uphill slope and will rise exponentially with EV sales, but the state’s energy policies relative to power generation are going to result in a net reduction in available power. This isn’t just a California issue, and

Except they’re not.  You can’t stuff enough renewables in the state of California to support full scale automotive electrification without nuclear power, which they’re actively working to end.  They’re putting the cart miles before the horse.

While a valiant effort, that just looks like the pig from Angry Birds got its septum pierced. I’m sorry, but there is no saving this atrocity.

On what planet is a 40/60 distribution on a high HP, mid-engined car an “awful weight balance”?

Too clean and under-performing to take off road, too spartan to want as a DD. That’s a lot of money for a car that you may throw some camping gear in every once in a while.

One of these was featured in NPOCP in late 2019, and was in nearly as good condition. For $5200. And it was a ‘93, which came with more HP.

You almost had me until I read that it will need paint work, and more likely than not has a cracked dash. If it didn’t, the seller would be talking that up as a selling point. It’s still a fair price when looking at what reasonably clean 944 non-S, non-turbo models are selling for (hint: way too much), just not a nice

Sweet! Now this site is just a hamster dance away from that true 1997 GeoCities experience!

Underappreciated comment of the week.

Came for the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust, did not leave disappointed.

That’s what erotic mud flaps are for.

“Big” sponsorships, no, other than recognition of a brand/product I was unfamiliar with that at least had me look into its merit.  I have gone out of my way to use/support businesses that sponsor local events, though.

Ferrari does not give two shits about Vettel anymore. They are hoping for an outburst where he publicly throws the team under the bus onscreen as “justification” to send him packing mid-year.
