“It is what it is” is also a convenient tool for conservatives to ignore any kind of moral or philosophical debate, even when defending something awful. They just say those 5 words, and *poof*, anything from segregation to unfair parking ticket fines suddenly exists in a vacuum. No need to discuss how or why it came…

Seriously. Swan isn’t great interviewer, he just did the simple thing that the other dumbfucks at CNN, etc. don’t do: ask that motherfucker to prove it. He says some shut to most of them and if they can’t instantly refute it, they take it as fact. 

Trump seemed frazzled that Swan (no relation to the lake) didn’t just swallow the president’s dim-witted explanation like the fair and balanced journalists at Fox News.

If a little “curb contact” busts a ball joint or breaks a control arm, your car is a piece of shit. Go walk down your street and you’ll probably find curb rash on 9 out of 10 sets of wheels. Then note how many of them also have busted ball joints.
