No, it’s not the logic of it. It’s intentionally at 30 as part of Hideo’s artistic choice
This list is meaningless without The Quick and The Dead on it (and at a very high placement).
Interesting...Martin Scorsese...I think some huge fucking loser actually just wrote something about him
This trailer confirms that Jeremy Allen White needs to play Wolverine.
This is a glorious example of why I laugh every time private equity tries to defend itself. Embracer went on an insane spending spree and is now exploding, destroying companies, jobs, and lives in the process. WTF did they think was going to happen? Only the most deluded, Wharton School piece of shit thinks they can…
The resolution thing is horseshit though. Sprites are not 3D,and Emulators have been running these games at 4K for over a decade and looking good while doing it.
It’s interesting to see “behind the curtain” in games, but yeah I like the challenge and immersion of playing games as they were intended.
Yeah this guy certifiably sucks at reviewing this series.
“Reader, I wrote “I hate this” in my notes, which I don’t believe I have done since I was reviewing Netflix’s horrific live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation.”
The hatred for GK is really overblown. Yes, there’s loot and leveling but that’s not the end of the world. From a mechanical standpoint, the combat in GK is far more interesting than the combat in any of the Arkham games and since these are all action games, that’s pretty important.
I just want to thank you for the parenthetical explanation of what HDR is. I’ve known the term since Half-Life 2 added it with the Lost Coast add-on/tech demo, but I always forget what it is exactly.
The Sachsgate thing years back definitely had already outed him as a scumbag in the UK,
It’s always the person you least suspect. Here, Brand is the person you most suspect, which makes you think you shouldn’t suspect him, which makes him the person you least suspect.
There better be puddles, or GOD HELP THEM
I’m pretty sure plenty of people are talking about Starfield already without a magic puddle needed to be included.
Next week: An AV Club slideshow retrospective on the Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis apology articles.
Length is not my problem; it’s more the cavalier disrespect of my time. BG3 is great, and I am happy to give it 100+ hours of my spare time over the next few months, but BG3 is a game with extreme content density; everything is interesting all the time and there is no “length padding” - even the incidental side quests…
It’s Clem Fandango
Cool, this all sounds absolutely awful. I am too old and have too much going on to play any game that takes “100+” hours to “get going”. All that tells me is that you have an absolutely unfathomable amount of uninteresting content bloat.
