My folks used to live in Prescott, so Cordes Junction is where we got on/off I-17. Southbound it was posted at 75 coming down off the plateau, which was fucking terrifying.

I’m sure Trump’s team will say this is all a big Nothinglisberger

I don’t believe this for a second. There’s no chance anybody could do 105 at 9:30am on the 101's Tempe corridor.

“Visa issues” could be more accurately described as “an alcohol problem.”

I have it on good authority that the bartender at PF Changs is black, and that Mark Davis, after his fourth appletini did in fact offer him the job. Negotiations broke down only after Davis couldn’t get the bartender to be his best friend in the entire world as well.

This reads like “how to build a case for relocating a sports team in the very near future.” Claim you need more fan support to be viable; fail to get said support; run back to the owners begging to move to Vegas or whatever.

“There’s no need to break down a kid’s spirit for making a mistake.”

Unsolicited advice from someone who survived a very necessary estrangement from her own mother: beware of anyone who attempts to convince you that you should be able to look past this. I wish someone had told me 20 years ago that “blood is not thicker than safety.” Thank you and good luck.

Our town has a large Puerto Rican population. Roughly 50/50 born here vs. came to mainland. Old white people constantly complaining about the illegals...some of whom they went to school with 50 years ago. All of whom are US citizens. The stupid is so powerful.
