I wonder if they’ll be able to find 150,000 people over the age of 65 who can figure out how to download an app.

Perhaps the easiest way to get noticed at your new job is to be absolutely terrible at it.

I’M NOT SENDING YOU MY CAT.

That’s fine, you can send them to me!

But my cat doesn’t like flowers...

It’s more secure with respect to the disk as a whole. If there is an attack against the Win7 VM the damage would be contained to the VM itself. But the VM itself would be no more safer than being installed on bare metal as it’s still running the Win7 OS.

you’re right that the win7 machine is equally insecure, but the difference here is that it’s a virtual machine. If your VM gets compromised, no big deal— it’s not going to affect your main (linux) system. Just don’t keep any data of value on the VM.

Good call on Rufus. I’ve used this hundreds of times when re-imaging or recovering machines.

I definitely like the idea of switching over to linux as a free alternative, especially on older hardware.

He lives in HOUSTON. He needs a truck. With a V8. Pick one - any one that suits your fancy, son. Young guy, that kind of budget, it’s a single cab short bed, or an extended cab short bed. I’ll bet you lunch he picks a Hemi Ram.

You need a V10.

It’s the best place to stop even if you don’t have to go. Everything is spotless, the food is high quality and you get the impression that they treat their employees well (they even post job/rate/benefit information to help encourage hiring).

I was just driving through Texas a few months ago and kept seeing the Bu-ee’s but never quite knew what they were.

Buc-ee’s is the greatest. No clue about how their coffee is but the food is fantastic, the bathrooms are spotless, and the beaver is awesome.

And on top all this, money is imaginary anyway.
