People mistake Indy as an everyman when he is really about as wish fulfillment as it gets.

Chris Pratt seems like a bit of a dolt and is okay-to-good in some roles and is truly terrible in the wrong sort of roles.

“who don’t have any stake in this and aren’t inconvenienced by it in any way are angrier about it than the person the criticism was directed at

9 is worse then 8. Except on the gore front, which was sorely lacking in 8.

Twitter hype should always be looked with sceptical eyes but I had no idea Kosinski had made this. That and Cruise’s commitment to the spectacle has my interest.

But he wrote the crapfest that was Fallen Kingdom (as well as directing the crapfest that was Jurassic World) so those unfounded hopes were deluded rather than unfounded.

I really don’t think the joke was “ha ha you’re bald”. Hell I think it was more of an “own it” statement.

If I walked on stage at my industry awards and slapped someone I’d expect not to get asked back, ever.

Initially I gave him the benefit of the doubt and presumed he was talking metaphorically about the devil. Be carefull when you are at your highest point, your ego might bring you crashing down. Or something like that.

I guess a few may have left but so? That would be on them. Most just looked as confused as the rest of us.

Right. The Academy really f*cked up by not removing Smith there and then. The horse has kind of bolted in terms of doing anything now. Are they going to take back his Oscar when they haven’t done sh*t about actions by worse humans? It would create an awkward precedent were they have to decide some arbitrary scale of

Do we call men with alopecia (also known as male-pattern baldness) “sick”? The Smiths have sat at countless award ceremonies and laughed at much worse jokes that were aimed at others.

He really should have been immediately removed, right? It’s bizarre that the Academy just allowed someone to walk on stage and hit one of their presenters and then just go back to their seat (Never mind allowing him the opportunity to go back on stage and excuse his own actions with a self-pitying cringy speech)

I wouldn’t say it was unintentional. I’d say the tone is very much heightened for dark comedy purposes.

I was very sceptical about them, presuming they weren’t my thing. But something about Bloodborne’s art direction made me give it a go and I haven’t looked back with the Souls games. I feel no shame in switching to easy on some games but for some undefinable reason I enjoy the challenge here and do feel a weird sense

Don't like Farrell? He's generally the best thing in whatever he is in these days.

Fuck off Jurassic World.

I think it’s just good old fashioned make up and prosthetics.

I know they do in the US but I’ve worked Zone A on ABC and Disney+ shows and there is no vaccine mandate in Vancouver.

The first season filmed in Vancouver and there is no vaccine mandate on Vancouver sets, lots of testing but no vaccine mandate.
