Homer: Hey, kids! Want to drive through that cactus patch?
Bart: Yeah!
Lisa: Yeah!
Sideshow Bob: No!
Homer: Well, two against one!

This episode is great, but "Cape Feare" is the gold standard.
My favourite moment of Lisa's childishness is from "Marge Be Not Proud"
Now if only we could make Frank's comments disappear…
The Incredible is, without doubt, the best superhero film ever made.
"Well, thank you. Oh, my gosh, that's so nice. I mean, I don't think I'm, like, a model."
"No, not a model. Mm-mm. No, I wasn't talking about modelling."
EDIT. Replied to the wrong post.
I have been really liking this season - it's really well written, has focus, very funny. But part of me really wants the show (next season) to infuse the show's newfound focus with the flighty, unpredictable and really excellent stuff from the first two seasons.
Doesn't that family know any songs that aren't commercials?
Cape Feare is not only his best appearance, but one of my favourite episodes the show has ever done.
Oh no! Homer's going over those fall!
Oh good! He snagged that tree branch!
Oh no! The branch broke off!
Oh good! He can grab onto them pointy rocks!
Oh no! Those pointy rocks broke his arms and legs!
Oh good! Those helpful beavers are swimming out to save him!
Oh no! They're biting him! And stealing his pants!
I really love the direction this thread has gone in.
One can only dream that it reaches the deft understanding of computers that Sorkin so deftly displays in The Newsroom.
Completely agree. The Philip and Elizabeth relationship was so completely different than so many of the relationships in current DRAMAS (husband does terrible things, lies to wife, wife is continually out of the loop and seen as a figure that stops the male protagonist from kicking ass).
She's already written it. The comment section for that book review will be stuff of legend.
Cocktail.
My problem was that there just wasn't enough camp. In for the penny, in for the pound. All those campy touches are what makes me keep watching, yet the show so wants to be a serious drama that it can't let go of its grand ambitions completely and just accept what it is. So much of the season was devoted to China and…
I think Netflix really did a great job of advertising for this season - Mara has been in so much of the promotional material, her face is plastered on the top of the Netflix homepage for the season. And that's why I was so taken aback when she died midway through the first episode. If she had died last season I would…
Her brain melted after a Real Housewives omnibus.
Betty has always been one of my favouirte characters of the series (I know), and Shoot was the episode that did it. Although other characters have gotten to grow more as Betty became a bit stunted in later seasons, I've always connected with the pure sadness of Betty. She is so barely holding it all together, often…
