nothing can get me more excited for this game than to find out that they have fixed all of the bugs and removed all of the unfinished leftovers that were left in Halo 2, in other words actually finishing the game. but from what I understand that is never going to happen because nostalgia blinds common sense.

The only people "burned" by this are the people treating Kickstarter like a store. I've given tons of money to Kickstarter and I expect zero in return. If I get some rewards, it's a nice surprise.
Risk is a part of backing up projects in Kickstarter, ppl need to be more aware of that. And that there is a difference between going belly up and a scam.
