I’m not seeing a downside, you can buy it for one month, play the DLC and cancel with two clicks. There’s often deals on the price too.

I mainly play campaign and horde, not bothered about competitive MP and honestly the only real letdown on Gears so far was Judgement, which was still kinda fun. 2 is still the best id say but 5 is pretty damn close.

Actually I compared them to stop the count conspiracy theorists, not the people in the red hats. Because both seem to lean into that sorta ‘bigger reason behind everything’ rather than accepting the reality. It was a joke but perhaps not a good one ;)

Videogames are a social activity which can be done in the safety of your own home. For all the perceived downsides of gaming its difficult for some to appreciate that. Having suffered from mental health issues this year it help me talk to my friends and keep a sense of normality. Bless you games, have a beer. 

How does your family member reconcile those bits of information you have written above? That they didn’t get sick with Covid? I’m honestly curious.

Dark is fine if it fits the hero. Batman, Daredevil? Yes. Fantastic Four, Spiderman? Why would you? Avengers 3 and 4 demonstrates you can balance a story with both light and shade and make it work.

Hes an underrated actor for sure, he’s great in Blade Runner, GoTG, Hotel Artemis “Visiting times are never!”etc,  plus he seems like a solid guy.
