I think working on MCU projects is probably very different to SW.

Mandalorian gave Star Wars its mojo back to many, maybe this can do the same for GoT.
Why would you import a mediocre portrayal of a villain in from the very worst Spiderman film ever made? And i like Jamie Foxx
In hindsight Constantine is a good movie, it's scary, trippy and the direction is spot on. I'd like to see Reeves return.
Raimi in charge of a Dr Strange movie is such a great idea that I can only hope this movie makes it to full term with him at the helm. I hope Raimi is given the latitude that Waititi, Russos and Coogler were given to really run with it. The recent MCU track record suggests that will be the case... but i live in hope.
I like First Class a lot, especially the early super-powered Bond hunting his former captors bit (which really should have paved the way for a Fassbender Bond)...and Kevin Bacon is really good. Casting for most part is spot on too and that cameo is inspired.
Fun adventure movie the like they don’t make anymore.
Critically yes but i’d wager Days of Future Past is the best non-solo X-men movie. Real stakes, great mood piece, great acting.
The train action sequence at the end of DP alone makes that a better movie, but its sill very much 4 or 5/10.
I was always batting for John Hamm for that one (I like Cumberbatch very much though)
Cause he did such a great job of B v S... More speed-ramped, joyless, grimdark claptrap is on the way then presumably.
Bosch is one of the best TV shows of the last few years in an under the radar way. Its quietly confident, adult in its dialogue, plotting and characterization and so intelligently put together.
After the mess that was Apocalypse and Dark Pheonix, there’s no way in hell that Kinberg, Turner or any of that group will be involved in the MCU. Full reboot is coming.
IMO Its the second best Star Wars movie after Empire. And i’m not a blogger, I’m a middle-aged life-long SW fan.
Is Star Girl meant to look like Mystery Men? i.e a goofy comedy with deliberately OTT/crumby costumes? If so hats off, you have succeeded CW
LiS 90's is such a guilty pleasure. Its objectively not very good and contains VFX so dated they make your eyes bleed but like you say the casting is on point and the tone (fun B-movie, jokes thrills etc) is exactly what the premise should be.
True, but never played an out and out comic character. Thats not to say that’ll be case in Thor of course.
Terrific news. Bale is one of the very best actors out there and always felt he had a funny-bone lurking somewhere. Time for Taika to tease it out.
I think to be fair MCU movies haven’t been cookie-cutter for some time now, which seemed to be much helped when Disney sidelined Ike Pelmutter who was blocking a lot of the more diverse creative choices.
Honestly, Dr Who works better with one companion anyway. Tenant and Piper, Smith and Gillan, etc just works best; gives the Dr someone to bounce off and also gives the companion a meaningful storyline.
