Id say someone stoic and reserved.

Sorry, but just don’t get the uproar (again), thought it was nice moment.

The film is watchable enough but that’s it really.

Man that speech in First Contact still gives me the chills. Even more so for the fact that he recognises that he has to let go at the end of it.

Start with a good first film and build the universe later maybe. Don’t do a The Dark Tower c.2016.

I got it on audio book. Kinda trippy (which i liked), not wholly satisfying (lots of build up and neat resolution) and Paul is the very definition of the omni-capable-badass (to the point of removing any tension IMO) but if you can deal with that it is indeed worth a listen.

Give them katanas and i bet Zack Snyder would be all over it ;)

Same guys who did Tomb Raider reboot = great

I cannot say that i didn’t at least enjoy Godzilla 2 a little bit but ultimately its too stupid (and not in good way that say Pacific Rim is), visually messy, cheap looking (Ghidora looks like its made of rubber) and contrived to work. I’m still staggered the typically cynical and savvy Moviebob gave it 10/10.

Maybe some $80 jade eggs or steamed mugwort dumplings would help her memory ;)

Oh boy Holland really is the perfect Spidey; naturally charismatic, funny and able to inspire joy in people. He also seems to genuinely love it all.

So the excuses have started already. It may fail but at least they can transfer some blame to market forces, etc.

I do think Holland would make a great young Drake but cant say I find that the most compelling story to tell.

A strangely cut trailer for sure but the film looks promising based on visuals and cast/crew alone.

Three weeks after the film leaves theaters ;)

Plus Vaughan has bailed on more projects than Guillermo Del Toro, hes like a magpie after the next shiny thing (his movies can be fun though).

Not sure what the alternative is; not have anyone overweight in any movie, or have people being overweight and no-one notices? How in that in any way reflective of how real people would behave? Some people get low, turn to food/booze and put on weight, and sometimes their nearest and dearest notice and comment.

100% this.

Wait, somebody wrote Alita: Battle Angel? I just presumed three different scripts got pasted together by some sort of computer program

Yep, the toxic nostaligia obsessed man-baby fanbase of Star Wars is kinda ruining my joy of the franchise a little.
