Great cast but still looks naff as old boots. 

Horns is soooo bad. Great concept, executed with all the humour and subtlety of a great white shark in the face.

The Rock has been niggling that Skyscraper is one of the few non-superhero movies released this summer, so what’s his solution? Easy, he plans appears in a comic book spin-off movie to a comic book character we haven’t even seen yet and which no-one has yet asked for.

Ever done kiddy-craft? When you put glue on card and then pour glitter on it, then pour off the excess and hope it looks good? That’s what they are doing; flinging enough alternate movies and crap at the screen and hope something, somehow works and is popular.

and The Last Jedi is all the more interesting for it. Id much rather have that than the fan service some die-hards wanted...but hey thats me. :)

That scene is so great, they shot it so well.

Chris Evans really is brilliant as Cap, that scene could have been maximum cheese; as it turns out its inspiring.

As for comics its Cap lifting Mljonir from Fear itself (albeit not as impactful without context)

So much to unpack wont do it all but.....Luke has more arc in that movie than almost all of the original three.

Agreed, some good room for comedy and drama in there. Plus if they do fully retire Hulk its a good way to segue into a new strong character for the team.

There will 100% be a She Hulk movie in Phase 4 or 5. They can keep Banner in wings as guest star without having to have him as main star.

Agreed, Novak is amazing and Berry’s Toast of London is sublime. Witness the episode where he falls in love with John Hamm.

Again who is crying out for this? dd it to the pile marked ‘Failed spider man spin off projects’ along with Sinister Six, Black Cat and Silver Sable, Venom (x 3) and the rest. 

Looks awesome. I have a lot of time for Cage, when he actually turns up he is amazing. 

Why not have Picard go to a bleak alternative timeline, meet an evil version of Riker (who is a massive space racist who kills puppies for fun, has a huge scar on his face, doesn’t put blu-rays back in boxes and who thinks Two Broke Girls is funny) and for no sensible discernible reason save him from death and bring…

McKellen can play the back half of Admiral Archers beagle which mutated

Or maybe Luke felt that if he continued to be involved he would make things worse; which explains why he shut himself off from the force etc That may not be correct or how i would do it but its clearly what Luke thinks so fits the logic of the movie.

Its a great performance from Hamill and its a much more surprising and effective use of Luke than it could have been. To have Luke at his lowest ebb and then pick himself is sooooo much better and more rewarding than him being grumpy for 10 minutes then deciding to kick ass and take names like seemingly every trouser…
