Not so much idiotic as nihilistic. His cold turkey status mixed with PTSD made him loose faith in the world and his life in the following episode he finds reason to live again. ^^

I knew this would happen. This is going to be swell. :)

This is the best of the Platinum dunes remakes, IMHO.
