Working class people don’t vote republican for economic reasons. They vote republican because republicans tell them it’s cool to be bigots and democrats don’t. That’s why Toad Dick will still get 40% of the vote despite collapsing the economy and letting a pandemic run wild.

It’s funny how people who use the term “feminazi” are often fine with ACTUAL Nazis.

I mean.... You just referred to them as “male-form” Byleth, who Ferdinand couldn’t be into because he’s “straight,” and therefore not interested in the character because of their gender representation. I don’t see how that represents a non-binary character.... You literally just defined them as MALE-FORM.

While I do appreciate the point being made here, I think you might have a few things mixed up. Specifically, that Robin of Awakenings was an “everyman” player avatar while Byleth of Three Houses has a defined character, when it’s really the other way around. Robin, for example, has pre-defined dialogue and hobbies

Ah well, Gilbert and Alois are Platonic S Supports, so depending on whether you have the DLC or not, the available M/M options can be as few as 1 (just Linhardt) or 3 (Yuri and Jeritza). So there was a much bigger imbalance at launch, but really it’s pretty paltry on both sides.

I don’t think it’s very realistic if every character in a game is bisexual. And it would make the form purely cosmetic, which isn’t the point. If you have a masculine form in real life, straight males just aren’t gonna be into you.

Byleth was the worst part of FETH, he would have been way better if he was an actual character rather than an emotionless blank slate

I mean.... unless I’m remembering incorrectly, don’t you literally make a binary choice about your gender representation, and doesn’t that choice limit your options for relationships and marriage with different characters.....? That feels about as far away from non-binary as you can get.

I liked this article, and I see your point, but I’d counter-argue that the game and it’s writing is a great example of treating you as a non-binary character, rather than Byleth acting as any kind of example of it themselves. Byleth is nothing more than a player represention and it’s fairly easy to project onto them

From a design perspective, we’ve still a ways to go. Female Byleth wears booty shorts and fishnet stockings. Her Smash render is effeminately bow-legged with a cocked hip. Compare that to her more stoically posed and appropriately dressed male counterpart.

Nah he’s an example of why self insert silent MC’s suck and has zero personality whatsoever and could be removed from the game and nothing would change.

I hope for both their sakes, but especially Meghan’s that the relationship lasts. Because if they split up no matter what the actual reason is it will be Harry wanted to reconnect with his family but Meghan refused to let him or some such nonsense.

Clearly, she says “laurel.”

I’ve always thought of Talib as a bit overhyped for his lyrical ability. He’s an okay poet, but rap is supposed to have rhythm and rhymes. Regardless, on Twitter I got excited about him because he was taking down those ADOS clowns (a Russian psyop scheme to co-opt black people in our fight for equality). Those tweets

Public health isn’t political, you’re just a fucking prick.

That’s his actual face, the skin is the mask.

Protip: Alt-righters are gonna call you a SJW cuck for playing it, and the more performative leftists are gonna call you an amoral shitbag for enjoying it.

Final Tip: It’s okay to play on Easy.
