I kind of want to backhand that one young douchebag who keeps smugly talking about how non-authentic everything is, while all the older folks are like, “hey, this isn’t bad!”

Yeah and they all start their reviews with pretentious, douchey backstories like...

Like everyone else, I’m not surprised by this at all. Yelp is whiny, entitled white people headquarters. Of course they’re harsh on minorities.

Kind of like all the asshole transplants in San Francisco who ridicule and make fun of Chinese people and Chinese restaurants on yelp. The Chinese have more of a right to be in SF than some douchebag Midwesterner.

I think it may vary based on where you live. I can tell you about three different mosques in my city because I see two when I drive from the highway and one is on a major street near my grocery store. Oh, just thought of another one. But I live in a big city, I’m guessing it’s different in smaller communities.

I didn’t have any bad nicknames (except the one time in first grade Joe in my class called me four-eyes. I’LL NEVER FORGET THAT, JOE!!), but my sister’s name is Ellen, and once in school a boy in her class called her Ellen Melon. She was DEVASTATED (and probably about five years old) and we still tease her about it a

Awful childhood nickname thread?
