Clearly the bombing to control the fungus had some unintended consequences.

I lived in Maine in the late ‘80s for three years while Murder She Wrote was on TV. The entire time I was there, I remember only two or three actual murders occuring versus the daily murders shown in the show.

I was coming here to post about that. I had a friend at college who grew up in the Bronx and refused to go to the movie when he found out it was shot in Vancouver and featured mountains in the background.

I don’t know.  A bunch of brain dead violent people filling the streets?  Sound’s like Boston after any Patriots or Red Sox game.

All of my portable devices and computers run through a VPN. I can’t imagine this is going to work well.

Maybe they will bring back Shelly Long and Bebe Neuwirth?

I, like most people, cannot wait until next year when HBO announces that no one will see the second season for tax reasons.

I would love to see a Harvey Birdman version of Better Call Saul.  That maybe the best thing ever thought of.  Get a treatment to [AS] immediately!

Maybe this is all just a cunning plan by [AS] to have an excuse to bring Metalocolpse and The Venture Bros. back?

Is Billy West free?

Nothing against this scene, which I think was very well handles, but the collective freakout on the internet just seems a bit weird. Are there really people watching this who never watched a zombie/vampire/SciFi body invasion film/series before? Don’t go near a Cronenberg film, is all I have to say.

The Strain was a terrible mess, but kind of fun if you accepted it as a terrible mess where no one had ever heard of vampires and half the plot threads were just dropped.

Exactly!  If we have to put up with Brits constantly playing Americans in our films, turn-about is fair play.

We should demand that Bond be played by an American, since most American rolls now days seem to be played by Brits or Aussies.

We watched it in 9th grade in the 80s, and they fast-forwarded through the sex scene (without stopping the film). I heard from people at my high school after me that by the end of the 80s, they had stopped even fast-forwarding.

How can you forget either the car chase in the French Connection or the reverse freeway in To Live and Die in LA? Both put the Matrix chase to shame.

Are we sure that Zaslav doesn’t work for Disney?

I like money.

And Max is best known for soft-core porn.

Chalamet has always been Shia LaBeouf.
