Exactly. There was a boss battle against some sort of flan or the other where I got so bored, I fell asleep in the middle of the battle, and woke up to discover I had somehow won the battle. That shouldn’t happen.

XV is worlds better than XII, but I also put XII way at the bottom.

VIII goes towards the back for me, due to the single dumbest plot twist in the entire franchise. I put the game down for two weeks and had to force myself to eventually beat it after that orphanage shit killed all interest I had in it.

I loved VI up until World of Ruin, where it felt like the developers threw their hands up, said, “We ran out of story, let the player figure it out.” 

See, I found XIII refreshing after how much I hated XII. It isn’t my favorite in the series, but everything I hated in XII, they fixed in XIII. And to be honest, I kinda love Fang, Vanille, and Lightning. 

XII has charming characters? Ha! I can barely even remember the names of the characters who weren’t Balthier and Dr. Cid. There’s Vaan, who was the most annoying protagonist in the history of the series, there was I Wish I Was Rikku, there was Short Skirt Princess, Bunny Girl, Evil Twin, and Pretentious Name Badguy.…

I disagree. When Lightning punches Snow for just being annoying, I related to her more than any other FF character in the franchise’s history.
