@Sidequest: Not too much, I happen to agree with you (same thing happened with Fallout: New Vegas). Its actually exactly the same thing. However, in both games if you were to ask me which game this would be the sequel to I could tell just from the way their trailers/gameplay is.

@Shadonova: I have used the bring to the table refernce before (I was talking about MoH in realations to games like MW2, Killzone, BC2, and others) but I think this game clearly brings something to the table.

I got in from buying bad company 2... every fps is becoming more and more of generic. That's why games like Fallout/Bioshock bring a little more to the table. Could developers just try something different? If they do it might be popular it might not, but lets not saturate the market with generic fps.
