There are some old and well known granola schools in this country that do this stuff and academics and crank out doctors and lawyers and some amazing contemporary artists. School should have trees and building things, it’s boring to only learn from books and not very applicable in life.

These are called granola academies in the USA. They’re not new. I went to a Montessori based school that was semi granola but being dragged into back stabber college prep. But it had wood shop and a fine arts department that was better than many small colleges. Which I loved!
