Look, that is one of my favorite book series EVER. The 8th in the series, “Under a Velvet Cloak” was really good, too, although it was a bit of a different tone from the first seven, having been written seventeen years after they were published. I wish there were more in the series, to be honest.
My strong reaction to the Ghostbusters remake was because it was a shit movie.

$40k a day may be outrageously expensive in the economy of this time period. I don’t think we know enough about their economy at this point to nitpick this. Also, I know it’s meant to be a thought-provoking component of the show, but what’s the difference in sexually assaulting a robot and beating a hooker to death…
