Teams that go from bad to really good quickly could get stacked this way. Also good to really bad teams would have unnecessarily long rebuilds. And mediocre teams (Hawks) would always be meh.

I was wondering the same thing. I mean common sense says you can’t toss a player while the ball is in play, but if he had ended up getting an errant throw from center and making the third out it would have been interesting.
