My rule is that if it's not on pressed CD it's not "in the catalogue". I have a "complete" Swans/Angels of Light/Michael Gira collection, but if I were to to try get all the CDrs, cassettes and vinyl releases, I'd go nuts. Dude's insanely prolific.

It's not "rock", but see Swans live. Trust me.

Also: "Why…"

Because while fraternities are the ostensible enemy of the politically correct, the bullying behaviour of the SJWs who shut down everything they don't like is a manifestation of exactly the same mob mentality.

I think the irony of right wing Americans moaning about "socialism" is that the US government operates mainly as a socialist charity for corporations rather than taxpayers.

I'm similar to Carlin. I have a libertarian streak on social issues, but I'm not anti-government in terms of infrastructure and so on.

I recall that when I bought it at about about 15 (when I could afford maybe 2 or 3 CDs a year) I was really impressed at how different every song sounded and felt like I'd really gotten my money's worth.

I honestly can't see how Soundgarden or grunge really led to Korn or Limp Bizkit at all. Nu Metal with its palm-muted riffing and barked vocals was pulled from death metal and industrial metal.

If I recall correctly, one of the details in the Blockade Runner model is a tiny centrefold in the cockpit.

I like her music, but I find the whole culture of worship of her unique-special-weird-alien-free-spirit-childlike-ness incredibly offputting.

Well, twenty year old South Park episodes are still pretty entertaining if a bit rough in terms of polish.

Man, I always feel like a bit of a bastard for saying James Brown does nothing for me. I can hear what's good about his music, and I have no criticism of it, but it doesn't resonate with any part of me.
