So the "golden era" of movie poster design is 1927 to 1992? Pretty much the entirety of film history then?

Just came in to see if Mario Kart 64's "Victory Lap" would be included. It's maybe my favorite video game song; I even covered it once.
I like this Goat.
It's still just composite shots, though, which are about as old as movies themselves. He's just making the composite on a computer rather than using matte or rear projections or whatever else they used to do to get those kinds of shots.
Twee hipster band full of fedoras? Your clichés are all mixed up.
The Beach Boys – "Surf's Up"
Slow internet day, A.V. Club?
Cool that Nintendo's finally found a way to bring back some of their old properties.
Why does the A.V. Club feel the need to shit on this album at least once a week. It's good and shut up.
@avclub-8e3d05b3a02cebcb45d304a5224a6113:disqus Well, it's no whatever shitty place you live, I'll give you that.
I got you beat, man. I'm 26 and I couldn't hear "under 40." What do I win? Aside from being deaf by middle age?
Guaranteed: this dude has never listened to a Wings album.
Kanye did it first! And Fiona Apple did it first first!
Yeah fuck that.

This is so weird. Soctt Aukerman pretending to be conservative arguing with Gavin McInnes pretending to be liberal? Somehow it's too awkward to be funny, but I hope it leads to a new career for Auckerman as ironic panel guest. I'd love to see him as the token conservative on Real Time.
Yeah, but to be fair, Stressed Out is definitely the worst song on that and maybe any Tribe album. It's the one track on Beats I don't like; it doesn't even sound like a Tribe Called Quest song. It even seems like they were kind of burying it at the end of the tracklist.
I sincerely love the Love Movement. For that matter, I also love Beats, Rhymes & Life. I came to Tribe late — after they'd already disbanded — so I think I was able to listen to their albums objectively without expectations or comparisons to some perceived creative peak. If you take each album on individual merit,…
I think you mean, "Bryan Cranston Eviscerates Reddit."
Sorry, "eviscerated?" Did I accidentally end up at the Huffington Post somehow? Please let's not eviscerate anyone. "Russell Brand made fun of some news anchors" is fine, thank you.
